db1 Posted September 30, 2013 Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 Hi, Venus 170 movement Does anyone can tell me some information about the Venus 170 chronograph movement ? (also named "Up and Down chronograph") I've heard it's a high end movement used back in the 40-60s by companies such as breitling and other top brands. I've heard it's beats slow (18,000 if i'm not mistaken), and that it is a workhorse movement. For how much do these vintage chronographs go for (in $$$) ? I'm interested in information since I have a chance to pick up one of these and i'm quite interested, but dont know much about it. Any info will be much appreciated. Many thanks!
