lukenorris2011 Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Hello all, I have nearly all but finished my tc sub build. Will post pics when finished. Will the bezel assembly just pop on with a press or do I have to take the assembly apart and do it in the two parts? Thankyou guys!
ArkoN Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 You can just pop on it. But it needs a lot of force. And be sure that there is no force on the pearl part, because that part can break.
lukenorris2011 Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 Right got the bezel on, but for the life of me it's not sitting flat slightly on one side, thus the bezel won't turn! :s
SSTEEL Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 The bezel not rotating indicates that the bezel assembly has not been pressed down correctly, and is not even all the way around.
lukenorris2011 Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 To be honest I think the whole put together of this tc sub was a poor job by the "watchmaker" who assembled it. If anybody can recommend a uk/eu based GOOD watchmaker id rather pay for the watch to get stripped down/reassembled Thanks again, Luke
SSTEEL Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 I have worked on a couple of TC's now, so if you want to send it to me, drop me a pm, and I will sort it out for you. I'm in EU. Finland, from the UK originally
irolexu Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Make sure you did not bend your bezel! this can cause a world of issues
lukenorris2011 Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 No worries have pm'd steel and will be sending it of too him to work his magic.! Thanks steel & irolex u
irolexu Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Good luck and if you need a new retainer I may have a spare for you.
SSTEEL Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Good luck and if you need a new retainer I may have a spare for you. Will let you know when I inspect the watch if anything is bent.
