danielv2000
I had hoped to complete my 6239 build with Newman exotic dial. Unfortunately, my DW 6239 case needs some work to accept a V72. To be clear, this was a v72 case and not a 7750 case. The $80000 question is , who can do this work now that The Zigmeister has retired? I would hate to get into another Phong case here. I was really hoping the "cheaper" DW would do the trick. Thanks for any assistance...

freddy333
Because these cases lack proper QC during manufacture, it is always possible that your case was made incorrectly. But it is just as likely that you have the wrong case (the V72 & 7750 cases only differ between their interior dimensions & look the same on the outside). Why not just ask DW for a replacement case since the movement does not fit your case?

No way to deal with DW at the moment.Hey bud, if you can reach spinmaster, he can do it for you. spinmaster91@gmail.com Gl! Interesting. Will he need the movement? I'm not crazy about sending my parts back to Asia!!
cc33
No I'm sure he has his own to test fit but to be safe why not have him install it all for you, he's great. I've never had an issue sending him anything.
