ceejay
Just asking because I have just received a Bezel Ring from WSO, the package import slip was marked as 'Gift' value $35. It was sealed in a jiffy inside a sealed small freight box inside a sealed freight envelope. None of the packaging had been opened. There was no invoice in the package. I was charged a total of £22 to have it released. On top of what I actually paid for the ring is outrageous! Any chance of a successful claim back do you think? fraggle42
What is the breakdown of the £22? IIRC they charge something like a £12 administration fee which you've got to pay. So they're charging you £10, which on $35 is a bit steep, but just look at it this way, we all get caught once in a while, you didn't save money this time but have all the others! ceejay
Very true, I have got away with more than my fair share of import duty They can put it towards the Christmas party
SSTEEL
I have noted customs are getting really strict this last month all over the world. Wondering what is going on.
