sputim
I just acquired this Omega Seamaster and want to ask whether someone knows the exact production year since I think 1963 is not correct. The watch is working flawlessly and has nice patina on the dial. The strap is not my cup of tea so can anyone recommend a seller who sells croco straps which would fit these lugs? jackflash
You can checkout the vintage omega database here:www.omegawatches.com/cu_vintage/You'll need the case number from the inside of the watch back though.

danyg
I made a similar thread on my vintage seamaster over at RG. http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=209581 Serial number should be printed to the movement, and you should be able to find the production year (+-1) on the database mentioned above. I recently delivered mine to my watch smith to have the movement overhauled, case polished + new crown, crystal and strap. Should look pretty awesome once its done. Good luck with yours! Major_Error
Any way a beautiful thing! My father had one "for ever". I can remember he always had that watch. Unfortunately it went in for service and the watchmaker lost it!!! It was gone when my father came to pick it up... me
