When they say a watch is in production....

What does that mean in terms of time?

I bought a Pam 441 via torobravos and it's been a few weeks. Toro says the watch is in production but he can't get an estimate from the factory. They keep wanting me to switch to a Pam 386.

Am I in it for the long haul or could it be really a quick turnaround?

I guess its ready when its ready.  I personally never adopt new models early, I wait and read what others that do find wrong with them if anything.

I think this was out before, and they sold out.  I don't think its a new model, per se.

I was looking for a PVD/DLC model of a PAM, but I have a number of PAMs that have line markers vs numbers.  Ideally there'd be a PVD version of a GMT out there and Id move on, but I haven't found one, yet.
