    Hi all, I've noticed that most of my reps coming from china have an industrial, almost smokey smell. Esp the leather ones. Any idea on how to get rid of that smell? Other than a gen strap?

    Hi there I have a Bp dssd that I got from trusty. I've had the pearl fall out a number of times. Anyone know where I can source replacements?

    Hi there Anyone have any spare or replacement pearls you're willing to sell? I've got a bp dssd ceramic that the pearl keeps getting knocked off...if you don't have any onhand, any recommendations where I might find one? The raised pearl and my wrist movement don't seem to mesh... Thanks in advance

    Pt said to send it back if I wanted and they would repair but they also said someone local would be a better choice. Attached is the pic of the wrench. Is there a trick? Like is it reverse threaded?

    Ok, I took it to the watch guy. He can't seem to get the case off. So I went on eBay and bought a case back wrench for 44mm Pam's. He still can't get it to work. Any ideas? Are there special wrenches I'm not aware of?

    Ironically I emailed Andrew last night and this morning he got the watch. Go figure.

    Hi all, I got a PVD coated DSSD from trusty recently that stopped working. In hindsight I should have brought it to a watch smith but I sent it back registered. It looks like it made it to Guanzhou and the last updated in the system is 12/3. I don't think I have much recourse because the value for customs purposes was intentionally left low per Trusty's instructions. Should I write it off and try again? When should I give up all hope it will make it back to the dealer? Thanks

    @peteM, thanks for the advice. I'll poke around. I hate to be one of those guys, and I like to tinker with things like electronics but I feel like my giant clumsy paws will just mess this up. Maybe I'll get myself a used clunker and experiment...

    Hey all, I finally received my much sought out Pam 441 from puretime yesterday. Mind you the qc pics were fine. But unfortunately after open in the package the second hand isn't attached and is rolling around in the case. I have an email into PT but what good options do I have? I suppose I could send it back and risk losing it for months or forever. Can I demand a replacement before I return this one? Is it a simple fix for a watchmaker? Thanks as always.

    Anyone know where I can find a top notch xl length asso strap? Everyone I see online is 120/75 or shorter. The ones that are longer seem cheap.

    I think this was out before, and they sold out. I don't think its a new model, per se. I was looking for a PVD/DLC model of a PAM, but I have a number of PAMs that have line markers vs numbers. Ideally there'd be a PVD version of a GMT out there and Id move on, but I haven't found one, yet.

    What does that mean in terms of time? I bought a Pam 441 via torobravos and it's been a few weeks. Toro says the watch is in production but he can't get an estimate from the factory. They keep wanting me to switch to a Pam 386. Am I in it for the long haul or could it be really a quick turnaround? Thanks much.

    Don't get me wrong, I love me a nice Porsche, especially the 959 and original speedster. But for coolest of all time I might say Ferrari Dino, Merc 300 gullwing, or the BMW 3.0csi (although I have a special place in my heart for the 507). But I can't overlook a 1961 corvette convertible esp in the red with white insert paint scheme.

    Hey all I ordered a PAM 441 from Perfect Clones recently and its on backorder. Depending on which site you look at, the strap is either very light or very dark. Its supposedly an Asso strap but from what I can tell theres a ton of variation out there. Should it be dark brown and weathered looking?

    I tried finding hypo at michaels but no luck. I got aleens jewelry glue instead which said it works with watches. I can't find anything about dissolving it, but if assume acetone would work. Just wonder how bad that will mess up the watch.

    Ok, let's say I'm a moron and got too much glue on the inside of the bezel and now it won't turn. Any idea how I remove it? I assume I got it on the crystal an that's why it's stuck.

    Ok, thanks. Didn't know if theses were meant to be glued or if they should just stay in based on tightness. Etc.

    Hi all, I have an ultimate version of the deep sea dweller with 2836 movement that I got from perfect clones about 2 months ago. I've worn it maybe 10 times. I just shook my wrist and the bezel insert fell off without provocation. Anyone ever have an issue with that before? If I get a replacement insert will it fit and if so how do I secure it to the bezel? Thanks E
