sagat1977 Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Hello, I am thinking of buying a rose gold watch and have whittled down my selection to the the Patek RG Nautilus or an Audemars RG Jumbo. (I think the ROO would be too big for me) I would like to wear either on a leather strap. I prefer the Nautilus but I am concerned about the quality of the rep-strap and there doesnt appear to be an obvious replacement. With the Jumbo, there is always AP-Bands with their lovely hornback straps. Does anyone have any thoughts on good straps for the Nautilus, or an experience of either of these watches. What do people prefer? If anyone has any pics of theirs - or any RG watches I'd be interested to see.

The Nautilus looks OK (not great), but the its very light.. The strap would be an issue on both, but as you mention you can source the strap from AP bands. Cheers..
AndyFors Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Note - i don t think the 15400 comes on a leather band (if it does let me know), so you would need a conversion links and a buckle. Should be possible the find, but the cost will add up.
