Guest submersible24g
after a month of trial and error and parts shipments i have finally put this one back together the way i wanted it done. This one started life as a Pam232, changed the dial to the left hand crown side, textured the dial, installed a Davidsen Hi-dome plexi crystal, installed a see thru sapphire caseback from the 249, installed a Watchboys black 26/26 calf, shortened the lug wires, installed a set of vintage style gold Pam hands, and tuned up the swan neck Swiss Unitas 6497. and VOILA!!! a lefty 47mm Radiomir that sits perfectly on da wrist! RageRover
Very nice. The dial looks spot on, which is very good to know. How did you shorten the wire lugs? I'd like to do the same mod. I was thinking/hoping that I can file off a little material from the ends to get the wires to fit closer to the case. It seems easier to mod/shorten the wire lugs than to try to make new ones (which others have done). Which dealer did you buy the watch from? V
The first time I have seen a lefty radiomir and it doesn't look bad.. I wish Panerai would do a normal production lefty radiomir... The radiomir crown really pokes in my hand and I cannot wear it for many hours..
