martijnp
Hi guys, I've got a cheap 21J version of the Grand Carrera Calibre 36 (see my signature) but i'm really loving the design. So I'm looking for a high end rep and they are pretty expensive, $398,-. Link: http://pureti.me/product/grand-carrera-calibre-36-rs2-on-rubber-strap-updated-crown/ There also is a quartz version for $148,-. Link: http://pureti.me/product/grand-carrera-calibre-36-pvd-red-44mm-black-dial-on-black-rubber-strap-jap-quartz/ Of course the 7750 is a better choice but is it worth to pay $250,- more? Don't see this watch that much on this forum, what are your thoughs about this one? Thanks in advance!
Azurax
I owned that exact quartz version. It's nice, but honestly theres a HUGE difference between the 7750. It is worth it. I ended up selling my quartz to purchase the 7750 and though I did enjoy the quartz while I had it, i regretted the decision overall. Pull the trigger on the 7750 you wont regret it. I bought it from puretime too. Edited December 3, 2013 by Azurax
BMW760
The flaws are minor on the 7750. Great watch.

BMW760
It's only $350 bucks or so. Not a bad price for a decent rep with a 7750.

BMW760
Still not bad. Every AP I buy is a cool $1k by the time it gets to my wrist. I think you would really enjoy it and it's good out of the box.

ProMariner
Hi, I also have the 21j version (I bought it 40USD with shipping) to try how it will be on my wrist and now I am in love with this model and I am thinking to get one but I think I will opt for the quartz version.. And save money for a project. The A7750 seems to me very good, if you haven't another project in your mind then go ahead.
