fitmic Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 I can't find the excellent genuine parts list posted here before. I have a 45 mm Planet Ocean that stripped tubes and crowns three times, so now I'll order the genuine parts from Cousins UK instead. Are these the correct ones? Tube Omega 090ST1232 Crown (product code) 42184ST I also need a few stems for ETA 2824-2 could you please find it for me at Cousins UK too? What adheisive shall I use to fit the tube to the case? Can it be ordered from Cousins as well? Will Loctite be fine to use with the stem and crown? Thanks for taking time helping me out!
Jonny2400 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Be very careful many of the guides don't make it clear the parts listed are not for the CrPO 45.5mm The results... can be seen in my pic (having to buy another watch) Be very careful many of the guides don't make it clear the parts listed are not for the CrPO 45.5mm The results... can be seen in my pic (having to buy another watch) You can see the I have fitted the wrong crown to one of my watches, thus completely breaking it Edited December 14, 2013 by Jonny2400
fitmic Posted December 15, 2013 Author Report Posted December 15, 2013 In my case it is the ultimate PO that needs to be "Frankenized".
FxrAndy Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Locktite thread lock is fine for the stem. If you have a tube that is a bit loose to the case then you want a two part epoxy
