A 3035 and eta will have the same hand rotations but not the same date rotation. He was referring to the how the hands advance, not the datewheel... I think there is two distinct tells for a Rolex 1) Most Rolex movements hands advance clockwise (i.e., you are turning the crown upwards to advance the hands) - which is what Mymanmatt meant. ETA does the opposite. 2) Most Rolex movements, when you wind back the hands, you can also wind back the date. ETA does not do that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
