clacey9@gmail.com
Have a submariner from Rochest lost pearl ordered new insert followed wrong directions and popped entire bezel off. Bezel has spring wire I assume wraps inside of groove in bezel. Tried to snap bezel back on but wire just comes out of inner groove everytime. Any ideas would be appreciated. freddy333
Once you understand that the spring slips into the groove on the case (the area surrounding the crystal), you just have to carefully work the spring back into the groove while pressing the bezel back down. Sometimes, a bit of slight bezel rocking helps to keep the spring in place on 1 side while you press down the other side. But there is really no trick to fitting it back on. It just takes patience & practice.
clacey9@gmail.com
Ok so your saying to start the spring like this? then wiggle the bezel down over it
clacey9@gmail.com
The spring itself is larger than the case groove it will not stay in place as I maneuver the bezel onto it. Am I understand you correctly?

SSTEEL
Got it case closed thx for your help Share your experience, how did you complete it? My understanding is with some of these wire retainers, the wire actually fits in a groove in the bezel assembly itself, not the case. Depends on the actual build/model.
