marrickvilleboy
Hi guys, In the process of building the tudor blue submariner. I have sourced the case, dial, hands and movement and missing the insert. Anyone can help me with what is a considered the best version of the insert? Any of the stuff on ebay good? Thanks in advance.

Pierre Sec
I am also experimenting with a (in my case cheap) blue snowflake. First I had a Clark insert but it was almost purple. The second attempt was a cheap one from the bay (J&K). I'm pretty happy about it. I do not know if I'm going to experiment with it (oven, drain cleaner) Here two bad iPhone pictures: (and a Rafflestime dial with dirty Clark crystal)

marrickvilleboy
thanks - though the listing says its not for the plastic crystal version. Did you have to shave to fit? and what version of the 5513 case did you buy from?

Pierre Sec
thanks - though the listing says its not for the plastic crystal version. Did you have to shave to fit? and what version of the 5513 case did you buy from? I just measured the insert from the case i had here. The case is from a 5513 from Silix. With a plastic crystal. It's fits perfectly, no shaving. And yes, the pearl is wrong. But my main priority was the colour and fit.
