watchpursuit
My watch obsession started about 3 years ago and since that time I’ve been collating various websites and brands that caught my eye. They were mainly small and boutique watch brands as I felt they offered the best value for money. So recently I decided to build a website and share what I have collected over time with people that have the same interest and passion for mechanical watches as I do. I had more than 150 brands so instead of just making a long alphabetical list, I went with the randomly generated word cloud design, which is a little bit different but less boring. Since photos speak a thousand words, I wanted to have photos rather than some blurb about the brand history. In the end I wanted to keep it lightweight. Other cool features are "My Shortlist" and live website preview on mouse hover. Feel free to contribute to the "cloud" by suggesting a new brand that's not already in there. So please check it out and any constructive feedback is appreciated. watchpursuit.com
