SOH V2 -- gen crown won't fit rep tube

My very favorite rep is my SuperOcean Heritage v2, so I bought the gen crown on eBay. However my watchsmith (misiekped) has tried to install but it won't fit on the rep tube. Too bad, because once I get the lume redone, the close-but-not-perfect crown is possibly the only noticeable flaw left on this super rep.

Crappola! Is there any chance of sourcing a gen tube?

Or you could just sell it to me!

Very interesting. Don't suppose you can get any more info or pictures on why it does not fit? Curious if it is a diameter, thread pitch issue or what.

Panermaniac, the eBay seller was dr.chrono. I'm sure if you search completed auctions you'll find it. I just shipped it back to him for a refund -- I bet he'd be happy to sell it to you. I couldn't find a gen tube, but I'll admit I didn't look that hard -- the rep crown is really, really close and I didn't want to start retapping the case on my very favorite essentially irreplaceable rep.

The problem here is that there are many different sizes and configs on gen crowns.  Maybe you just didn't get the correct one.
