clem2192
I have a sub from Perfect Clones with the ew Breed Asian 2813 movement and I want to use the movement as a basis for a bit of modding (new dial, hands etc..) I have some dials & hands suitable for an ETA movement, would these fit the Asian 2813 ?! Are the dial feet and hand sizes the same on the Asian 2813 and the ETA ?? Is there a cheap alternative (possibly quartz) that I could use with ETA dial & hands ??
Big Dazza
No I believe these new movements are crap and eta parts will not fit onto it. Not sure about the dial but I hear the hands dont fit

Don't want to spend £50/£60 on an ETA as could maker it too expensive a project I have found this from Cousins (Movement, ISA 1198.32 Date @ 3h, Cousins ref: 119832M) Same diameter as the ETA and same hour & minute hands but the seconds hand is 0.20mm where the ETA is 0.25mm. Could I use an ETA seconds hand and get away with it ??
Big Dazza
Not sure what size the new breed movements hands are. You might be better saving yourself the hassle and ordering a swiss or clone eta movement version instead
clem2192
Was hoping not to have to would make the whole project more expensive than I would like. It's my first real attempt so will probably end up stuffing it up and being left with more parts Maybe I'll have to rethink the project Thanks
Big Dazza
Yea to be honest you'll probably end up spending loads more trying to find correct parts to fit then maybe buggering up the movement anyway. Sell it on and buy a new eta clone version
