cape cod strap?

Do NOT use Cape Cod on brushed finishes!! You will ruin it and make it too shiny.

As to oiling. You can soak the bracelet in sewing machine oil, chain oil e.t.c and dry it off afterwards.

+1 avoid polishes. I ruined a sub bracelet using a polish. Luckily it was an old two tone sub with solid gold mid links so just polished it out all they way and actually looks kind of vintage but would not want that with a solid SS brushed piece. Try white lightning bike chain lube. Works great. There are some threads on it around here.

HI, just got a new sub and DSSD should I give the bracelets a light cap codding ? i have read some where of people doing this. Also people say bracelets been brushed and oil'd! whats this mean!

Thanks

Cape Cod cloth is abrasive. That is how it removes scratches. If you rub it on brushed metal, it will remove the brushed finish.
