docdoowop Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 this watch in the photos. i opened the caseback thinking i could get to the dial the way i do with most watches....but NO. the dial is larger than the opening in the back... do i have to go to the front and remove the crystal...?
docdoowop Posted July 4, 2014 Author Report Posted July 4, 2014 Wow... Quite a mystery. Tried to unscrew a bezel:nothing Tried to pry bezel off: did nothing but dent the bezel and case!! What to do?
Nightwatch Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Strange, really don´t know, but this one could have a very tight sitting plastic retaining ring around the movement that will be extremely difficult to get back together again because of the chronopushers as well. Good luck.
SSTEEL Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 You need to remove the bezel, and crystal to remove the movement from this model. Using the right tools for the job help.
docdoowop Posted July 4, 2014 Author Report Posted July 4, 2014 What kind of tools say, around the house could I use to do the job? I do have a real basic watch repair tool kit ...
