Legend
I'm out my depth here, if you were going to buy 1 which would you buy? No worries. If you are asking which I would get, it makes your question a lot easier to answer. I would get this, for the correct thickness, the reliable movement, and the blue dial, the last a personal preference. http://www.p-cls.com/ap00023-royal-automatic-ssss-blue-asian-28242-p-12874.html Someone might be able to tell you more about the BP version if you ask around, which I am not familiar with, and then you can choose which you prefer. banksman
What is the BP version??? I was looking at this 1..... http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=994 B
Legend
The one you are looking at is an identical watch to the one in the link I sent. Just different dealers selling the same watch. BP is just another maker, and I am unsure if they made this watch or they are offering another. Like I mentioned, you have to ask other experts. GenTLe
If I was you, anyway, I'd go for the Asian eta... As many members who works on the reps have said, it is from at least 2 years they don't see a real eta in any rep... This doesn't apply to the ones with Sellita calipers which btw are MUCH more expensive.
banksman
So is there a 15300 with Sellita calipers....(whatever they are)

GenTLe
I don't think there are Sellita based 15300 around. 15300 is a bit old model and the factories are introducing Sellita movements from few months. Sw200 is just one of the movements (it is in practice an eta 2824-2). There are others, like the Sw500 which is the chronograph, another which I don't remember the nr that is the eta 2836-2 (day date one ) etc. Just give a look to Sellita site to get some knowledge. Do you remember we used to have AP divers offered with that movement? I had one (v3.5 I think) that held up pretty well!
GenTLe
Do you remember we used to have AP divers offered with that movement? I had one (v3.5 I think) that held up pretty well! Not that I remember. AP are now offered (for what I know) only as "fake overpriced Swiss eta", Asian eta clones (2824 or 2836 for non chrono; 7750 for chrono ones), gen 28.8kBpH Miyota (good movement indeed), fake 21.6kBpH 21j Asian Toyota clones (the cheapest ones). So far I've seen only Noob factory offering gen Sellitas like for the FF Blancpain or the latest Patel Nautilus. GenTLe
So I'd go for the Asian eta clone (2824 or 2836 only) or GEN Miyota. And since for the Asian eta clones cited the pinions sizes are the same like for Eta (probably Sellita too, but I've to check), in case they will break down badly (something that a service cannot fix) I will then swap the movement for a new fresh eta or Sellita. Unfortunately this can't be applied to 7750 if I got it right, but I'm not 100% sure... Edited July 30, 2014 by GenTLe

Just be prepared that the claimed "Swiss eta" will be an Asian one. Told this, then go for the most accurate one. Suggestion: ask to the dealer if it is available BEFORE you put the order and pay!!!
