Formal shirt preference? Pleats or no? Wing or Point?

Well I have several formal events on tap and need to replace my FORMAL / Evening shirts... ie White and worn with studs.

I do shop @ Tyrwhitt and they offer this option:

I am open to other choices and I'm interested in others opinions in this regard, do you prefer Pleats? Collars? have a personal favorite you would not mind sharing?

Popular option these days is no pleats and point collar.

 

I like no pleats and wing collar.

If you are adhering to the rules of black tie you should only wear a point collar (not a wing collar which is reserved for the more formal white tie dress code).

As for pleats it's up to taste I believe, I personally don't wear pleated white shirts as I find that on me without pleats looks more streamlined.
