pascal Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Hey Guys, in the pictures you see 2 pam 382 KW models. the one with strap has factory patina , the other one i will keep for myself i played with : SALTWATERBAD , THAN AMONIA FUMES , THAN LEMON JUICE BAD , THAN A COLDWATERMETHOD LIVER OF SULFER BAD. I REALLY LIKE THE ORANGE BROWN SHADE MUCH BETTER THAN THE FACTORY YELLOWISH PATINA. LAST FOTO IS THE STRAP WHICH JULIEN LANDA IS MAKING FOR ME. LET ME KNOW WHICH PATINA YOU PREFER??????????? REGARDS

436NR Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Between the two, I like the one without the strap.
pascal Posted August 18, 2014 Author Report Posted August 18, 2014 -sent from my iPhone5 using Papatalk- how did you get this result? regards
pascal Posted August 18, 2014 Author Report Posted August 18, 2014 Or this! too dark for me , armanou has the perfect colour imho, regards
Nightwatch Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 The strap You are heaving made is fantastic, otherwise Armanous has the right "weathered toolwatch-look". Personally I like the greenish/turquoise oxidation saltwater produces even more.
pascal Posted August 19, 2014 Author Report Posted August 19, 2014 this time a VERY WARM (HOT) bath in liver of sulfer eh voila , very close to armanous i think, reg
armanou-pascal Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) I used warm water and lever of sulfur and two time bathing ...btw it's a KW. Check out my thread on the german board: Slightly rubbing (not polishing) the edges on the case to get a 'natural bronze patina'http://www.zeitgeist-forum.cc/index.php?/topic/11973-Das-Philadelphia-Experiment-%21/page__view__findpost__p__153775 Fyi strap is a Dirk vero squalo (shark) -sent from my iPhone5 using Papatalk- Edited August 19, 2014 by armanou-pascal

Guest Schildking Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 amazing, my pam 382 is on the way, they will accompany me to Cambodia
Jordanf1 Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Guys, Im the soon to be owner of the 382, what id like is stap then can handle water and weather, any suggestions, OEM ? or anyone know a strap maker. Cheers D
hiker01 Posted October 4, 2014 Report Posted October 4, 2014 Order the Carbon Fiber and Bronze strap from Angus.....once you get used to it, it's really nice. I've used mine in the pool and shower and so far, so good. This one on V2 ZF: 1
perry563 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I also bought the v2 with the kevler strap. What bothers me is that the buckle is such a different color from the watch case! I have several bronze buckles and all look the same color as the buckle on the Kevlar. Case looks much more coppery in color.
