New 45mm Planet Ocean w/ Problems

So, I took the plunge and bought four rep's from Trusty last month. They arrived today and sad to sy but two are not right. First the Planet Ocean: trusty-watch #OMG0321C - P-Ocean Chrono SS/SS Blk 7750 (OMG0321C) = $378.00. The issue with this one is the second hand is stuck at 12 and the crown wont stay screwed down. It keeps time and the little second hand on the subdial moves. But the big second hand never moves. That and an a crown that won't stay screwed down...

Next up is a Explorer II: Tursty-watch item #ROLEXP2033 - 2011 Explorer II 42mm White (ROLEXP2033) = $358.00. This one the second hand sweeps nice but the minute and hour hands don't go from the movement. I can set the time with the crown, but it won't keep time.

I just emailed Andrew, but not too excited about sending them right back to China and hope they get it right this time. Pretty dissapointing as these were both on the high end for rep's and I can't enjoy either of them. I would rather send to a local (Houston) or at least a good watchsmith in the US who can service them and get them sorted... Any advice?

Local option is preferred for sure.   For the extra $$$$, it'll be well worth it.    Shipping them back to China will cost you in both $$$ and time.   I shipped one back the Andrew.   From the USA, international priority cost me almost $50 and I waited almost 10 weeks to get the watch back.   It worked out for me in the end though.

I would use a local guy next time myself.   Expect it to cost about $100-$150/watch for someone to look at them.

Yea I realized my mistake today. The watch works just fine. Seconds and chrono all work as they should. The only issue is the crown won't stay screwed down. I pinged Andrew and he offered to fix if I send back to China. Then today I found a local watchsmith who can fix if I get the parts. So, Andrew is sending me a new crown and stem instead of me shipping back. I know it will cost more, but I don't feel like sending back to China and waiting amonth or more.... Hopefully this will all turn out right. The watch is quite nice. Just a stripped out crown I guess.
