Pfm67 Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Just received this watch and noticed what I thought was a small piece of plastic on the crown. It turns out the paint is flaking. I thought the crown was stainless steel. I am waiting to hear back from TD, but was wondering if anyone has thoughts or suggestions.

panerai153 Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Take a photo. Crowns are S/S and shouldn't be any flaking. Are you sure it isn't the plastic protective cover that they sometimes apply to the ends of the crown?
