Thank goodness I asked the question here and never mentioned your name, I only wanted more information on the accuracy of the case since I had no idea. If he tells you that he paid that amount of money for it then I guess he did and that's unfortunate for him. This is the rep game, sometimes you earn some sometimes you lose some. Whoopy is one of the nicest guy I have ever dealt with and the good thing about him is he designed and developed several dials as per gen with some HK factory and allowed us to own some perfect printed dial for our reps ! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk A gen 5513 midcase alone will cost you around 1300€ the prices are increasing. And honestly a phong 5513 is as good as gen if you plan to go all gen parts it is the best way to go (if you don't have the fund for a gen midcase) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure how deep in mm the rehaut is though I just received the 6538 case from Helenarou. It is NOT a retaining ring/gen style mount for the crystal. It is set up for the gasket/miineral glass crystal. Looks like a Tropic 19 acrylic crystal can be glued in after shortening it, as we've done in the past. with cartel cases. The rest of the case looks really nice. The curve of the lugs is more gen-like, and the bevel is nice. It can be easily thinned out to work. The rehaut looks deeper due to the glass crystal gasket seat. I'll contact MK and see if a gen style mount is available. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kime Posted January 16, 2015 Report Share Posted January 16, 2015 What HR quotes for sterile prices (i.e prices shown on their web site or ebay store) is NO WHERE NEAR what they charge for branded stuff. For example the price of their sterile "6538" dial is half the of what they ask for the branded ones and that is after they doubled the price of their sterile "bond" dials about 6 months ago. JoeyB Posted January 16, 2015 Report Share Posted January 16, 2015 I paid $158usd plus shipping for the case, caseback, movement holder, crystal gasket, 2 spring bars, and sterile crown/tube.
