ajoesmith Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Well ive been searching to find someone who can bead blast my aquatimer 2000 watch as its only available in Titanium BUT.. Ive found this review of it http://www.time2watch.net/IWChome.htm And they show 2 versions: 1 SS and 1 Ti Maybe i dont need the Bead blasting after all?? or maybe it would look better in Bead blasted finish??? Is there going to be a mad rush for this watch now????? as its a great rep, bezel aside
Pugwash Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Well ive been searching to find someone who can bead blast my aquatimer 2000 watch as its only available in Titanium Of course it was available in SS. It's a GST. Here's my review: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=16927 I'm now convinced that when they say Gold, they mean White dial with gold hands as I've never seen a gold-cased GST of any variety.
longshot Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 I so want another one of these. It's great size and very subdued for a dive watch! But the last one I had (white dial/gold hands) the 12:00 markers were horrible and ruined the look of the whole watch. I've emailed a couple dealers about hand selecting one and also have to wonder, if they are just glued on if a good modder could remove and correct them if I got a bad one?
Richard Tracy Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 I successfully aligned markers on my Gst,..so it's possible to do it yourself,... all you need is a razor a needle and some loctite.. though I don't know if the markers on the 2000 are like the Gst, in place with two posts and a spot of solder.
