Fiddy Strap Screw Twisting In The Wind...

I have a PAM127 from Joshua... latest version with the swan neck. I had an older 127 from EL and on that one the strap simply unscrewed from the case. I went to change the strap on this one and it looks like it's the same but when I try to unscrew it the screw just turns freely... whether I'm loosening or tightening. This behavior is the same for both screws... just wondering if I'm missing something here or if I have a problem and if it is broken how I would go about getting something like this fixed. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Kirk

either the lug screws are stripped or the case is. I would try putting pressure from the other side, like a toothpick while trying to unscrew it. If there are no tubes in the strap, you can also try holding really tight onto the lug screw via the strap and try turning it. If it's just the screws, no problem with a replacement. However if it is the case it could be more problematic. Either a case replacement or you could pick up some spring bars from River which work really well.
