marrickvilleboy Posted January 23, 2007 Author Report Posted January 23, 2007 Thanks guys for the comments! To answer some of the questions: The watch diameter is approx 40mm without the crown. The movement was from a donor Omega watch that I picked up for a decent price. I saw a serviced 552 movement and it went for around $180...which is way too high - guess its supply and demand. To PAMman and Ubi, thanks guys, I was trying to get rid of the stubbies (thats why its noticable on some lume markers but not on others) but i decided to do it later. In regards to the caseback - I'm going to see if i can get a hold of a used one, and the word "CERTIFIED" is spelt wrong on mine, its spelt "CERTIFED" haha. I may just polish down the caseback near the 'A' and 'FED' area to get rid of those issues. What annoys me is the dark yellow tinge to the bezel markers - they look bad and out of place but oh well. Thanks for the kind words and advice.
