Help me find best basic Seamaster Diver 300 41mm please?

Hi - I will make a couple posts so I can post link for help

Looking for a "basic" Seamaster Diver 300 41mm....not a chronograph and not GMT.    Is that what people call a "BOND WATCH"?   I know there is a version with 007 all over it and that is NOT the one I want.   Just want a blue or black.

Can someone provide current best advice on  the best version(s) of these to get in replica?   I would ideally like a high bpm if possible.   I currently have been wearing Invicta 9937 for three years and I believe it is 28800 movement vs 21600 for many other Asian movements.   This is not a showstopper if there is major price difference or if the replica overall is better in 21600 but I would be willing to pay a little more for 28.8

Also I am just learning about replicas.   Can these last for many years without servicing?    If I paid 1500-2500 for a new or used genuine, would that last many years without servicing or will that also need to spend lots of money servicing?   I saw some reference to "tricky" Omega springs or something on some other watch forum making it sound like a genuine Omega also doesn't have long-life workhorse potential?    I'd prefer to just have a watch that keeps good time and lasts, and isn't fussy.....

Many thanks

Any of the TD's (Trusted Dealers) should be able to source one for you. Get it serviced and it should last for years.

How often do they need servicing, and is it tough to find a place to service it because it is a rep?   Or do you just go to any watch repair shop and they will service it as an Asian movement?

I need to navigate the site and see where is the list of TDs....will try to find it....

Thank you

The longer you spend here the more you realise that you can easily send your rep to one of the watchsmiths on the forum. That way you know that the Watchsmith is happy (and understands) to work on reps. Don't let not having a local guy put you off

I read some of the "stickies" for noobs and they are helpful.    However many are from 2006 or 2008 or something.   I have just a few basic questions now that I've seen that yes indeed when I go to the websites of the TDs, there seem to be some "normal Seamaster 300" options in the 200-350 dollar range.

1) I am in the US.   Is there much risk for me to order and receive the replica watch?    Will one watch likely get refused by customs?     Can one in the US "get in trouble" for receiving this watch?

2) Can you pay "normally" via credit card or Paypal or something or are there risks to doing so?   OK to get it addressed to your normal residence?

The reps seem to be what I'm looking for....need to look more closely at movement options etc.....but I just want to know upfront if this can be a pretty normal and simple purchase.   If it is going to require all kinds of special hoops to jump through (Western Union payments or getting Post Office Boxes or whatever) and stress and risk then maybe I just abandon and get a Seiko or Orient or something, although I'd really like the Omega.

Thanks
