fallraen Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Hi guys, I am about to buy a Breitling Navitimer. I have actually seen and held the replica in my hand. But I noticed that the Bezel seemed abit loose. I understand that it is a slide-rule and its supposed to well... slide but it really feels strange. As I turned the bezel, I felt an inconsistent resistance. Is this normal? Its asthough some parts of the bezel is hard to turn and at some points it just feels loose? whats up with this? a case of bad QC (no pun ) I'm sorry to ask this prolly noob question, but i tried searching the forums under "breitling, bezel" and couldn't find anything on this. Hope a Breitling owner can shine some light on this matter. Thanks guys
chrgod Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 I have a Breitling Navitimer rep, the new version, and the bezel is a bit loose, but has a consistent friction when I turn the bezel. Think this is correct. A very good looking rep though! Only shame abot the deep set date on the 3-6-9 versions
fallraen Posted December 24, 2006 Author Report Posted December 24, 2006 hmm yes the the depth of the date wheel i read about that too. i plan to get the two tone navitimer in white. at least yours has a consistent resistance, i hope perhaps my dealer can get a good piece for me.
