tallguy83
I've been around RWG and TRC for over a year an half. I just got an AP RO (great watch by the way). Anyway, it arrived, but there was some crap on the inside of the crystal. What's a boy to do? I could go to my rep friendly watch guy an hour away to have him do 5 minutes of work. Or I could send it to RBJ or The Zigmeister. None of the options was that appealing. I hit up Home Depot, got me some nice screwdrivers. The Zigmeister provided a sweet uncasing tutorial that covered an ETA movement like mine. Within 15 minutes, my crystal was clean and my watch was back on my wrist. I saved a long drive and shipping. So thank you The Zigmeister! And thanks to RBJ, Ubi and others who help to make this place such a great resource!
ubiquitous
Tallguy- I concur 100%! We've got some great folks on RWG and TRC- Members who are as real and as genuine as they come! Our forums have been an absolute goldmine for knowledge, and experience. All of which is priceless! Glad to hear you took on the task of cleaning the inside of your crystal yourself! There's nothing quite like the feeling of satisfaction of doing your own work Please post some pics of your new AP! I'd love to see it! tallguy83
Here are my two babies. My buddy hooked me up with the blue one as a trial. I feel in love and now I'm on a quest for APs!! The black dial came from Sean. Edited March 30, 2006 by tallguy83
sssurfer
Congrats for your first work as a watchsmith! And for those beautiful timepieces as well! May I ask you who is the dealer of the blue one?
