3717 bracelet on 3777 case

For all those who have always been curious if a 3717 bracelet fits a 3777 (V6F in my case) case...

 

 

It fits size wise but the lug holes are in the wrong position. The pins won't get in.

I've read in several fora (rep as well as gen) that in these cases some glue tight the endlinks, bend the pins, drilled new lug holes...I wouldn't do anything like this but I do like the 3777 bracelet more. So if one is able to secure the 3717 bracelet endlink to the 3777 case it'll look great
