rionrlty
Longines Lindberg hour angle/ captured seconds.Back in the 1930s Longines worked with Charles Lindberg to produce the Weems hour angle watch. For the time it was a monster size at 47mm. There was a re-release about 10-15 years ago and they are common on the net. It is an Iconic watch and I wonder if anyone has replicated it, either the original from 1930 or the reproduction gen from a few years back.I would love to have one. Here is a photo for reference. panerai153
I doubt that this has been replicated, it's a beautiful watch and one that I have admired for a while, ever since it was reintroduced.. Really too bad, because it probably wouldn't be that difficult to rep.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
rionrlty
I agree. But it would have to be the full size 47mm version. The re-introduction included a smaller size (38mm) and it's just too small. They are all over Ebay at bargain prices. I don't usually wear bigger than 45mm but I would make an exception for this. The center section of the dial rotates, similar to the mechanism on the Cousteau diver where the outer part rotates. Maybe that movement could be adapted.
