hambone
Yosuka Kawaiden was written as a play in 1825. It takes place in 16th century Edo (now Tokyo) and is the story of s samurai named Lemon who betrayed hiswife, nude red her father and poisoned his wife, Auwe with face cream that scarred her face badly and made her partially bald where her hair fell out. Lemon told a servant to have an affair with his wife so he could divorce her and marry another. The servant was repulsed by Auwe's disfigured face and she tried to kill him accidently killing herself. It is said her ghost haunted Lemon on his first night of marriage continued and went mad by her haunting. You can see her in today's Japanese horror films like the Ring and Juon . There is a spooky film done in 1959 and has been in woodblocks by Hokusai. See below Edited October 6, 2015 by hambone

nikki6
I've heard the play, I love Eastern horror, they don't repulse with gore, but turn your head inside out with creep! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
