I'm getting better at working on mechanisms, but I still need to take a brave pill and totally dissemble one for the first time. I'm worried I'll end up this a nice box of screws and parts that don't fit together. I'm thinking about stripping and rebuilding a pocket watch movement first. gmtlover Posted January 6, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2016 I do like the foil he is using to remove the hands..Always used a dial protector..but then i still sometimes scratched the hands by accident..That cant happen this way.
