netniet Posted March 20, 2016 Report Share Posted March 20, 2016 What you can try to remove the stem is to loosen the small screw you see near the crown (a couple of turns is only needed, do not remove this screw) with a small screwdriver, and then the stem should fall out when you turn the watch with the crown tube facing the table. Then put the stem back in the crown (maybe use a drop of loctite to fixate it). Here is a video how to disassemble a watch with a 6497 movement which you can use as a guide.
