kernow
Looking through one of my boxes for lesser worn watches I rediscovered my late fathers old Seiko. I bought it for him when I was somewhere between 10-12 years old. It was present; birthday or Christmas I guess. It was over 30 years ago and probably closer to 40. He wore it as 'best' and cherished it as it came from his only son. When he passed away it was given to me. There's no great cash value but the sentimental value is priceless. What are others stories of handed down watches?
fitmic
I bought a Seiko for my father's birtday 3 years ago. Sadly he passed a year and a half ago. I couldn't accept the watch. Too much sadness now. Perhaps I'll accept it from my mother in years from now. But I do have a couple of watches he wore when I grew up. All Seikos.
