ryyannon
Is Omega outsourcing its production to Chinese replica watch factories?
longshot
there is much talk on some of the watch blogs about what swatch is doing with omega and the quality going downhill rapidly. the new rattrapante chrono movements in the deville and other chronos keep failing, bad clasps, hands falling off etc. i guess tissot also introduced the new nascar chrono with a tachy bezel designed to 'maybe' convert mph to kph (uh, i'm sure nascar fans really want to know how fast the cars are going in kilometers per hour???). no one noticed the problem until a clerk in a watch store did. so it has now been corrected, but the flash animation on tissot's site still shows the screwy bezel!
