smalltime
I am having a problem with one of my reps It fogs up under water. Is anyone else having the same problem I thought the watches were waterproof. I have been rinsing them in water to clean them, then one day I was working around the house and I submersed my hands in water and my dial picked up beads of water under the crystal? Now I am a lot more careful with my reps.
gioarmani
Uhhh..they're only water proofed after they've had their gaskets greased and have been pressure tested... Which model are you referring to? If you've had water under the glass, it already needs to be serviced (probably re-lubed). I hope it was chlorine water and not salt; if it was, just throw it away & start over. The right way this time.
jacobsen1
Any links to how to grease the gaskets and pressure test it? I just ordered my first rep, and while I'm not planning on swimming with it, I'd like to be able to wash my hands or maybe take a shower with it... IE water resistant to 1' worst case and typical water spashage. Thanks, Ben
