Reps can take some abuse

I would have said it wasn't possible... I was splitting wood yesterday and noticed my MBW 1680 had stopped. The movement was loose, moving around in the case.

 

So I took it apart this morning, and found I broke the movement tabs. Unbelievable. I replaced them and it's running like a champ again.

Had a seiko stop on me once after hammering some steel, turned out the balance had jumped out of place, so this one had a lot more abuse clearly!
