Question on bezel click for GMT Rolex?

Hello to all,

 

My bezel fell off my GMT Rolex while. I was fixing a sink tap and caught it it just in time.  This model does not have a click spring but a small pin with a fine tip for the click.  As I took off the watch to put away to complete my job, I lost the small pin but the spring was still there.  Just asking anyone familiar with this setup if the tip of a spring bar would be the same set up as I no longer have it to make comparisons.  Thanks in advance!!

It's certainly worth a try! If the spring bar tip fits the diameter of the spring hole it should function, but if the fit is sloppy then you'll get play in the bezel stops.
