Speedy Pro Moon watch vs FOIS

I have had a gen Speedy Pro that I bought new about 4 years ago. I rarely wear it because I find it annoying to wind. I dislike the crown guards which interfere when winding the watch. I’m now considering trading it for a First Omega In Space which doesn’t have the crown guards. Has anyone experience of the FOIS or indeed the issue with the crown guards?

I have owned both watches. All things being equal, the FOIS is easier to wind. The biggest factor is just the movement. Some of the Speedies are just much easier to wind than others. I loved the FOIS, it wore better on my smaller wrist. I do miss it.
