space
You have seen it before, but we can never get enough pics, right? And finally a pic of my Seamaster GMT on a rubber strap: (The rubber strap only looks good when the watch is laying down, because of the bad fit. The strap is the one for the 42mm PO.) These are the first pictures in my DIY cardboard box light tent. It needs some small adjustments to block out the light even more... ..and I badly need a polaroid filter! space
Nice pics I especially like the last one (background colour looks a slightly pink though) I think it's the wine bottle trhat reflects that color. I did some level adjustment in photoshop, but hen the background got white, some other colors got wrong, so I settled for the pinkish background. BTW: Thanks for the comments
Bazz
I thought perhaps you may have left it that way due to the bottle, looks good any way... keep em coming.
Nebakanezzar
Looks great! What dealer did this one come from? It looks, in your pics, like the black triangle on the bezel (where the pearl is) has the orange "pin strip" on both sides...is this the case? i noticed the first orange "ultimate" models only had the pin strip on one side for some strange reason... Pugwash
Great pics, congrats on the watch. I did some level adjustment in photoshop, but hen the background got white, some other colors got wrong, so I settled for the pinkish background. Hey, no-one said it would be that easy. What you need to do is colour match beforehand and then do it again in photoshop, by areas of the photo if needed. Oh, and have a calibrated monitor. ps. It's "Polarising Filter", not polaroid. Good luck, they really help.
space
Nebakanezzar: Yes, it has the pinstripes on both sides. BUT if you look closely the omega sign on the dial is tilting to the left a little. That is the only negative thing I can say about it. (And that this omega sign is the wrong one of cource.) The PO is from Joshua. (and the GMT is from Andrew) I thought my panerai was heavy, but not not anymore! This one is really heavy on the wrist! Pugwash: Yes, I could probably use some more time on it and make it perfect! In Norway the term is "polaroid filter", but you're right, polarising filter would be the right english term.
