Chanel J12 Crystal replacement help

Hi Guys does anyone have any experience with dismantling a Chanel 38mm J12 .

Basically the glass on my misses watch is scratched like crazy , I don't know what shes been up to with it and its gone cloudy as well.

Anyway I think I have new crystal, though its hard to tell if its the right size.

Does anyone know , Is it easy to take the bezel off ? is it just a push snap type or is a more complex set up.

Then do I have to remove the movement to take the crystal off or do you reckon I can take it off without having to take the whole watch apart?

Thanks for any guidance the RWG team can provide.

That's really scratched up for a sapphire... Did she have it in her handbag shaking around with some diamond rings?

You'll definitely need to take the watch apart to replace the crystal by pressing it off from the back

Diamonds in her Handbag!!!  must of been  from the heist  LOL

I actually think its a mineral glass hence its scratched up so bad.

I tried to get the bezel of with thin knife without success . I dont want to take it apart if I need to get the bezel off as well . so wanted to see if anyone had taken a bezel off

Could be that, mineral glass is a scratch magnet.

FYI, Andrew has just added a few great quality J12s, but they're auto and not be suited for *most* women
