bigw
3 months and it's not moving..I'm surpised as it supposedly has the swiss unitas movement..also now when I pull the stem out to wind it, the whole movement and dial move too. Almost liker there's yoo much space in the case..Should I contact the dealer,,or is three months too long a period for any recourse??

Jetsons
I'm by no means a watchsmith (far from it) but is sounds like a movement screw may have come loose. With all the screws in place, the movement should not move when you pull the stem. Suggest removing the case back and make sure the all movement holding screws are in place and tight. Perhaps one is loose and jamming the movement. The Zigmeister's pictorial of the 6497 should help. Other than that, best to have it checked by a qualified watchmaker or a member that is willing to give it a look.
flavor flav
i bet the case clamps have fallen off. this should be an easy fix. could have fallen into the escapement stopping the watch entirely. it's a five minute fix. if you cannot figure it out i'd be glad to fix it for you for no charge just return postage. pm me if you need the help.
