jdkno
Every now and then mine gets "hung up" so to speak, where it feels like if you try to force the winder it will break. I give the watch a shake to spin the rotor and then it will wind smooth as glass. Not sure if it will work for you but its worth a try. Also I wind it with the watch vertical not flat. RWG Technical
It's probably your autowinder click wheel that is seized. They seize for a number of reasons, it can happen if you manual wind the watch a lot, or it can happen just because stuff happens... Or it could be some other gear(s) in the manual winding gears that is bad..only way to know, is for someone to open it up and have a look, preferably a watchmaker. RG I have opened it The Zigmeister. all i can tell is that the main gear moves alittle and then completly stops and it can not be budge, i suspect it have collect some crap. i have the tools to gain access to unscrew it and see but i do not have the oranges to proceed. also will not go to a watchsmith as most in australia do not work know how to work on a 7750 let alone willing to work on a rep Edited February 6, 2007 by 2sweetau
