  1. i too am waiting on mine... its been 3 weeks but i suppose i would wait 3 months as long as i dont get a dud sent to me. This Gen watch was the whole reason why i got into the rep world. fingers cross that all will be well. This watch in your photos looks very very good despite lack of AR and serial at rear. These are minor issues IMHO considering my friend has the blue tag link and and blue tag aquaracer (both considered to be titans of the rep world) and the fact their is no AR on these babies does not distract from its beauty. Enjoy the watch champ and may it tick forever ( including mine too )
  2. This watch started my quest for the finest replicas watches. it was 2004 and when i saw it, i was after no other watch but since the better ones were do much better than the cheap copy of this watch, i had no option.. now after so long, the replica powers that be have given that very watch... looks like its not going to be an ultimate rep but its close enough i say. I wont buy it because my rule on buying A775- type movement but for thoese that believe the 28,000 BPH verious is some how better, i would advise all of mine new and improved A7750 are dead in quick time and all A775-'S ARE CRAP, JUST AVOID THEM.
  3. excellent thread....my top three bargain watches are the unitas omega 45mm railmaster (great with better leather strap), the A21J Omega Seamaster black GMT(daily beaters favourite) and Tag Link chrono quartz (it sure is a fantasy - built like a tank, runs like a 4 cylinder sports car and all for $118 - it sure is one great fantasy I am living in). ps.. Greatest bargain watch was the UPO Lite with the copy Asian 28,000bph movement for $120, im glad I got mine.
  4. ive got the upo lite with this problem... i fixed mine by narrowing the tube on the watch with piles so it screws in snuggly. now its not ideal as it feels "tougher" to screw in now but its holding and been holding for 4 months with regulary time changes every week (its my work watch). i recommend this adjustment if you are very careful and dont care if you stuff it up (upo lite is a cheap and replacable watch) but shortening the stem sounds the better soloution. note: this problem appeared when one day i took off my watch while doing some clearing outside and left it in the sun on a hot day. Its afterwards i found the steam released on its own, and aftered removing the steam and seeing some wear on the tube thread within the watch case i came to the conclusion metal expansion was the problem, thus with the little margin for error between the crown and watch thread, this has happened.
  5. had a time keeping issue with the upo lite. running 1 min a day slow however movement adjustment now has it +10 a day for last 3 months... its my everyday beater, looks very good & works just as well for the price. can't go wrong really.
  6. g'day i have a common problem which i face. the bro has a working watch but he lost the helium crown (at 10 o'clock). does anyone know where i can source one from or does anyone have a junker that they wish to sell that part to me. open for suggestions aswell. kind regards 2sweetau
  7. For me this movement is sold to you faulty ie: not ready for use... all my watches with the "new and improved" A7750 movement have not even lasted a year and that is with infrequent use ( i only wore this kind of watch at special functions and treated the watches with care ). i would not read in to the hype about the wonders of the A7750. Its more risking buying this movement then any other movement in any replica.
  8. Counterfeiting in china is normal business..... The word risk is over emphasized here when discussing china based dealers. They sell illegal DVD copies of movies, bags etc in government shops. The Chinese government doesn't really care. They pretend they do but really they laugh at the other capitalist nations. Id say the dealers have they extensive kick backs they need to pay so i don't see dealers making millions. P.S Anyone ever heard to a watch shipment being stopped at customs in china. Can they do that??
  9. If i had a dollar for every time Wo-mart has been offline for what every reason, i could afford the gen!. its frustrating but he comes through. also note that my work mate just brought a watch from him and paid him via WU 3 days before he stated his departure... he hasn't picked up the cash so it does not sounds like desperate times for paul. just chill it will come
  10. Agreed.... i find myself purchasing reps with price in mind much more than before. Maybe manufactures have decided volume is not the way to go anymore... you quality over quantity, afterall if you produce a new model and it horrible... you stuck with alot of crap watches no one wants. ATM some real bargians are still around. keep the faith people
  11. seems like the bar is rasied? maybe in anticipation of another replica class as copies of eta movements will be forced on to the market and original eta's reps will be now a costly upgrade.
  12. i suffer from "replica withdrawal syndome" ... or know as R.W.S its a temporary condition which when properly treated can led to high levels of bliss* * bliss may only be achieved with quality shipments of replica watches
  13. All arguments present by members which believe that the A7750 is acceptable for sale are indeed selfish reasons and approches to the an obvious problem. its big.. no mistake about it... look at the responses and view on this subject, this topic opens wounds. Honesty in this biz is getting better as well as the watches but more could be done with this... but it take both sides to work together to getting a working product out for sale. Members this movement is getting better but its not even close to acceptable for sale. we have had years of this crap and a stopage within the community would have got us over the final hurdel. i do not want my fellow new commers to get a false sense of hope with this movement as many of us recieved with all the advancements in various versions of the movement. i'll be honest in saying a "sit back" approch will be employed and will not touch any watch with this movement (after all chrono's are useless and hey i do not want to be a one of thoese members that are scared to use use it even after a service.. lol). Its my recommendation new commers should do the same ..... avoid the problem let others that are aware of the risks to continue to prop this problem and fund this movement and wait for it to be solved eventually... thus my boycott will continue but hope maybe the words of some memeber that are hurt by this movment have reached the dealers and maybe some good has come from this. P.S much discussion has been made here by all and no more is needed as the people have spoken... lets enjoy the rest of the our "obsession" which is replica watches and get into other forums. there is far more sunshine then cloudy days and thats my 2 cents Kind regards 2sweetau
  14. howdy, nice selections, hope you continue to have a good time here 2sweetau
  15. i do not stick with one person.... i give everyone a go and do not have a preference ... i believe most offer similar levels of service from the very cream of the crop to the dealers that many regard as just ok. Are you a dealer Pugwash??
  16. then be honest about it upfront for the sake of all. Your A7750 movement does not have a chance untill you finish it off at your cost.
  17. pretend in a world of trust p.s ill be buying my 7750 when they are ready for sale, untill then boycott.
  18. i have 2 new and improved 7750's. both dead without major use and not serviced. could be the jinx of the unfinished product.
  19. unfinished product for sale??? not adverised that way and if it was "a bit" more, the manufactures/dealers can do they for the greater good for all. Almost everything improves with time but this movement has been "improved" (many times) without success at the expense of many. It should just be alittle fairer to all and we are getting perfect looking watch but who cares if your are sold something thats "unfinished".
  20. In reality does the movement have a chance without a service? using that defense, then why trustworty dealers sell a watch without a service which is required. The words here to concentrate on are "trust" and "required".... if the watch will not work without pre-use service.. do not sell it if your trustyworthy. Otherwise it looks like dealers know they will sell more watches for a price that does not reflect the true cost of what the owner must pay before they will have a watch that will work. Remember, we trust alot here and the trust for this movement is not returned in kind. It needs to fixed as production level otherwise its not fit for sale and it should not be the owner job to get it working they way it should in the first place.
  21. "many others", You mean the minority dont you?? Service .... do you mean before any use??? sounds like the movement should not be sold but our trusttworthy dealers because its not fit for use... maybe for the great good of all and not the minority that inroads are made for this movement future production. The pitty of it is that DOA watch doesnt get a chance and this happens way to often with this movement. it's clear that this fine movement that realises on alot of hope and the responsibllty of the owner to "fix it" for intial use to get it working they way it should be sold.
  22. If the dealers are fair dinkum, the pressure from the dealers to the makers should get them to address the all major issues with this movement once and for all. if what the people state here is correct and the movement is indeed fine provided its serviced before use... then it should be done before sale. if the price goes up... then so be it but atleast the comsumer is getting what they expect to a degree. its understood that anything can happen... you still may very well get a watch with a perfected A7750 that is DOA or may break down after within 6 months but atleast the percentages of that happening should replicate acceptable rates of success seen with almost all other movments seen in replicas. Most people assume a small amount of risk with ANY movement but at the moment, the RISK involved in buying this movement with the track record and together with the cost of the watch is way too high.
  23. Yes the evidence is clear as sapphire crystal. just some members want certain watches very badly at any risk. like i did... twise!! and so many members find out when its too late. you just want to believe that you will be that small minority that will work for you... it great a small minority have working A7750 watches but walk a mile in the shoes of the burnt members that are really upset with THESE movements even after so much time and the improved models, the b1 and 28k... geez we are in the same place... up s^&t creek without a paddle. keep your eyes wide open and read the stories and hear the issues out there.
