  1. well said friend
  2. The regulars!!!... Sure i don't need to tell those members anything they don
  3. What I think our some of our members are not grasping is the fact the movement is simply not working to acceptable levels. We need to make a decision on the future of quality of our favourite reps with this movement. Remember its not cheep knock off, this is a serious watch and for a fair price. Together we need to walk a mile on the same path of our other members that had these issues with the A7750. Imagine the feeling that you have a couple of A7750 Junkers in the draw valued at $500 USD which are now useless. Fixing it yourself is not an option as its cheaper to buy the same watch again they may have a problem
  4. i know of one good rado for sale at silix prime.... quartz and it looked good, dont know if see if you like that model.
  5. i have a skinny wrist and i wear a railmster xxl 49mm dial without issue...... trust me you can pull it off with the 45 po. You can if you believe you can
  6. Boycott the Asian7750 That
  7. got the mini g for someone and its scary close... even has the ceramic coated bezel... what ever that means??? see silix thats where i got it from? p.s it not a big watch... indeed the need to call it mini g
  8. have this watch... have some issue with peral, infact its identical. thanks for the nice review.
  9. I have opened it The Zigmeister. all i can tell is that the main gear moves alittle and then completly stops and it can not be budge, i suspect it have collect some crap. i have the tools to gain access to unscrew it and see but i do not have the oranges to proceed. also will not go to a watchsmith as most in australia do not work know how to work on a 7750 let alone willing to work on a rep
  10. Thanks for the sugguestion.... but still the same issue. um really in a pickle... anyone can help, is there anything i can do?
  11. SWEET, i mean it sounds really promising. i read that post, and im really excited with regards to your comment about workmanship of the asian eta model. im lucky enough to only have the one watch with manufacturing flaws so i trust my good run with continue with the ultimate "totally" Asia PO 45.5.
  12. i think your on the right track with the bars.... i use a general polishing cloth from a jewelly store. it keeps any watch case and bracelet looking stock and not too shiny just clean and looking new, the way it is suppose too. and the good thing is.... no creams or liquids, the cloth just picks up the crap and it show on the rag.
  13. 3 month old tag link with new asian 7750 out of the box, it had a problem with the 6 oclock dial no braking after reseting the chorno. i let that slide but now the manual hand wind will not budge. i can change time, date with no problem. it auto winds with no problem but i cant do it by hand.... i tried with alot of force and nothing, i just can turn the crown. any suggestions?? help?? 2sweetau
  14. the 28,000 bph..... is the asian copy of the 2824 really comparable with the gen eta 2824 in terms of sweep???? i like the idea of this special model. i dont have anythin agaist asian copied movments except for the 7750 (but i think the eta 7750 is a crapy design in the first place). infact my super cheap cartier roadster with an asian 21 jewel is running at 2+ a day even after 2.5 years. the stainless steel plating (yes plating) is fading inside the bracelet, its been smacked around abit too but the watch keeps trucking. to be honest, the frill of buying such watches for me is to experince the lenghts one goes to basically the gen on wrist for as little as possible.
  15. The following review is of the 18k solid gold omega double eagle constellation replica. This is a time piece that should command respect from the faithful rep watch community due to its accuracy in fundamental areas. This specific model has been around for awhile and was only purchased because I adore 2 tone watches and this model had the claim of being solid 18k gold. In all honestly I'm not overly worried what's solid and what's plated on this watch, but I do know now after sizing the band that the links are solid gold 0.5mm plated and the bezel area ihas typical gold plated. Looking at the pictures it is clear that watch looks like the real deal. All the markings in the right areas, construction is solid and replicates that of the gen, and great care is taken produce this watch without significant manufacturing flaws. At closer inspection, some interesting points I found are worth mentioning. Firstly, the way the letters on the raised "omega" sign on the dial appears to connect on the bottom and not through the centre which does not replicate the gen in any pictures I could find. Second, the slight colour difference between bezel area (which is plated a little darker more orange colour) and the links (which is a lighter yellow gold ) is indeed a slight difference but again not as per gen. Other than that, the other comments made within this forum regarding the different movement ( the golden ETA 2824 as shown in the clear case back differs to the nickel 2500b calibur with matching omega sign in gen) and the lack of AR coating is confirmed in the pictures. Now that is most I can see in way of flaws, however this watch has far more good points about it focus on. Like is said, construction is amazing. It's a solid 167g watch (i double checked this one) and it feels powerful on the wrist. Bracelet is very solid with no shortcuts evident in its construction, even great detail is taken to put the engraving of the omega logo s/steel info on the inside of the clasp (love those little touches). Also its worth mentioning the links being solid gold, it extended to the inside of the bracelet and seeing some newer reps with thoese nibs not being plated on the inside like some other new reps is annoying. The bezel is as per gen, not major flaw seen here. The dial is clean and neat with correct, crisp font for the "constellation" , "co-axial" and "chronometer" writing, brilliant markers and hands, star burst silver dial is spot on and illuminating points on the outside of hour markers and hands also lighting up in the dark. Note how the illumination markers on the dial have a clean black rim to them and the date window is aligned correctly with correct font and nice golden rim around the window. Look at the back, the case back has the right markings with that work horse ETA inside - works a treat and is expected too for many years. I would like to say that this watch is totally dressy and looks great in suit/tie situations. Catches the eye of all and makes your look and feel like a million bucks. Simple modern looking watch design and yet sophistication is written all over this watch. I'll finish by saying this watch is 8.5 out of 10 in accuracy which is based some of the near perfect models coming out now but I give it 10 out of 10 in my heart because this watch which has a overall presence about it that makes honestly believe you have a watch that is of equal value to the gen on your wrist... no rep is perfect, all that matters is that you believe it is as good as having that gen and this watch achieves that. Any corrections let me know Thanks 2sweetau
  16. scam scam scam, shame shame shame........... 350 pounds.... dam profeitering S.O.B. oh and hey did you read this "The chronograph functions work perfectly." what chronograph?? you monkey
  17. i must admit, 3 years ago when replica watches have captured my heart i was after one watch only from day one.... the speedmater day/date. why is a "good" copy of the watch not replicated? is there not movement that can be obtained and used in this watch. AND, to a lesser extent, even the speedmaster day rep is not produced... again i dont know why these watches aren't around .... surely this watch is easy to manufucature. my love for either of these watches is so great, if i were totally broke ... i'd sell a organ to by one. (well maybe not, but you get my drift). So... DEALERS - hear my call - these watches should be considered as the next step genration of "Ultimate reps " for the hard working factories. (besides, im sick of looking at the word PAM or ROLEX , these watches have had also every model replicaed very well, there time in the sunis done lets past the torch). 2sweetau
  18. thats annoying... it came like that out of the box... dealer offered to replace movment if i send it via registered post... problem is in australia there is no such thing as registered post for merchandise. so its ems or eci to track the watch... thats $32 usd and it was not my fault at all.... its not like it happened while i was wearing it, it was like that out of the box. plus i dont think ill find a watch repairer locally as they are all so smart with their "why did you buy a fake" comments... so im stuck with it or do it myself with some internet article help.
  19. thank for all your assitance....great info so atleast i know whats the main issue and i kinda figured it was gonna be harmless.... however, in terms of fixabilty... is this something a simple watchsmith can fix as i dont think i can take part some of the movement?
  20. hello guys I too am a replica watch nut that "had" to buy the new TAG LINK with the printed tachy on the bezel. love the watch, and the movement seem to work well..... however i have one more problem with this movement... the hour counter at 6 o'clock does not want to stop running. see attched photo for example : run the chrono, stop, then reset... all dials reset perfectly.. everything works fine right!!. then about 5 mins and suddently that hour dial has moved slightly.... and it continues to move. so the hour hand will reset and just start its count again. contacted dealer, never heard of such a problem. has this every happen before??? what is broken??... does anyone now how to fix it??? very disapointed... such a lovely watch. plz help 2sweetau
