krim
Hi guys I just bought a Panerai 183 off Andrew. It is a lovely looking watch and the movement is fantastic. However the deployment clasp of the rubber strap seems to be a bit stiff, after pressing the release button the straps don't pop off nor are they particularly easy to prise off. Is this the way they are meant to be? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't sound right....You may need to lube the hinges and push buttons...If this doesn't work then you may need to use a file to take away some metal...Good luck! P.S. Try posting a pic of the part of the clasp that is sticking...This would give "us" a better idea of what area could be causing you problems. Pam-O-licious
The Clasp button also have little screws that are the ones that push in and out... they may need adjustment ( in your case they may need to be unscrewed)
dadog13
whatever you do to fix this...change the rubber strap...the 183 needs desperately a leather strap!
