Some of the cases that you see on eBay have been scuffed up, to artificially give them a vintage look. It's really up to you: Do you want your watch to look like a pristine safe queen, or do you want it to have a more "experienced" look? Edited February 3, 2007 by avitt

Sorry It was unclear to me whether they meant scuffing of the case or the case back itself.
